Halibut

Found in the North Atlantic Ocean, halibut is a source of selenium, which has many health benefits.

Halibut is a lean fish with a mild, sweet taste and a firm but tender texture when cooked.  A staple of fish and chips, halibut it also delicious when grilled or broiled with lemon, dill and pepper.

 

Cooking Tip – Halibut can become dried out if overcooked, it is important to monitor internal temperature — 130F – 135F is ideal, with the center being opaque, but not glossy or pink.
